Daniel co-founded M-Squad in 2001 and leads it today. With 20+ years in mobile and telecom product development, he has conceived, built, tested and marketed apps totalling over 1.5 million downloads, with flagship iOS and Android apps rated 4 to 4.8 stars.
A certified Scrum Product Owner and an advocate of AI, Lean Start-up and Design Thinking, his recent work is AI-first, including an AI-assisted automated login health monitor and test management for consumer self-care apps. He was co-author of the Diebold study “Winning in Mobile eMarkets”, and co-founds and co-organizes GenAI Wednesday in Munich.
He studied Economics and Law at the Universities of Konstanz and Leipzig and at the École de Management in Lyon, and speaks German, English, French and Spanish.

Lars Thomsen

Lars Thomsen works with M-Squad on product development and innovation projects in the mobile & telecoms industries.
His company future matters is specialised in future-oriented consulting. Prof. Dr. Ralph Sonntag
Business strategy & marketing
Ralph Sonntag consults on business strategy and marketing for mobile services, with a particular focus on IT, media publishing and entertainment. He is a co-founder of several companies within the media and financial services area, and was responsible for setting up the businesses and shaping their development.
He is a professor at several universities, lecturing on business informatics, IT and marketing, and is active in the German Association of the Digital Economy (BVDW). He holds a degree in Business Administration and a Doctorate in Business Informatics from the University of Dresden, as well as several patents in the wireless technology area.

Randy Morgan

Randy Morgan is affiliated with M-Squad. Previously, he worked for Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington and London, England, doing technical consulting with corporations developing enterprise solutions. Earlier, he was a Principal Engineer with Unisys developing imaging solutions for banks and the US government, and before that a Principal Engineer with Olivetti developing turn-key banking systems.
Randy holds a degree in Computer Engineering and Economics from Oakland University in America, and currently works on a project in the IP TV market.

Berit Baues

Berit Baues consults on business strategy and marketing for internet and mobile services. Previously, she was co-founder of an internet start-up, shaping its initial business plan, strategy and development. As Head of Marketing she was responsible for partner acquisition and management as well as PR. Before that she was a Senior Consultant at Diebold working on strategy, marketing and organisation for e- and m-business projects.
She holds a German–British double degree in European Business Administration from the International School of Business in Reutlingen and London, as well as a diploma in Modern Social Sciences from the University of Montpellier, France.

Thomas Teichler

Thomas Teichler is a member of the Advisory Board of M-Squad and consults on business strategy and marketing for mobile services. He has several years of consulting and market-research experience, most recently as a freelance consultant on telematics in the automotive industry and financial-service projects, and previously with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from the European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel, and an M.A. in Philosophy from the Munich School of Philosophy.
